We are the Feminist Equal Rights Alliance, also known as FERA. Recently, we rebranded our club and changed our name from “UN Women University of Toronto''. We wanted to stray away from the rituals of bureaucratic work that comes with being a part of a large institution and focus more on giving back to our community while empowering our peers. We work to facilitate engagement with feminist dialogue on campus and represent women and other gender minorities. In 2021, we were awarded the University of Toronto Students' Union Outstanding Club of the Year Award for our efforts.
