Gala Committee
The Gala Committee is responsible for hosting the annual event for FERA. Our team is focused on organizing an engaging event to facilitate a feminist dialogue between students and faculty members and represent women and other gender minorities.
This year, we are hosting a launch party for FERA’s journal, Bloom and will have speakers who will be expanding on the prominent themes in Bloom.

RIOT GRRRL
This year, our annual gala seeks to illuminate the feminist movement through the lens of the Riot Grrrl. Riot Grrrls were and are revolutionary leaders of their time, born from female bands who unabashedly created names for themselves amidst a male-dominated punk scene. With the Riot Grrrl at heart and leaders in mind, this year’s gala is an exhibition of female skill and strength.
